Jesus Christ. I continue to have my heart broken by reading of yet another musician ripped off on any royalties from something HE DID!!! I can tell you that his is only one of a trail of tears of this happening. Will reveal more later, but in working on my music documentaries I have been shocked at how many artists aren't getting a penny for their work today. It is criminal.
Another great article, Michael. Hunt is a great guy. I've had the pleasure of meeting him a few times. One time he came to the studio when the Butts were recording in town. He listened to the rhythm track, nodded in my direction, and said "cool drum beat." Only three words, but damn. Getting that kind of validation from Hunt Sales, the master of cool drum beats, meant the world to me.
