Great tribute, Michael. I met Stephen in AA meetings on a Delbert cruise 20 years ago. The couple of times later that we crossed paths, he always remembered and took time to visit. He was a great musician and a good man.

I think I told you this before Michael, but Stephen and Jon D drove me to the hospital when I was dying one night. I remember hearing Stephen saying to Jon D as I was losing conciousness, "We better take him to the hospital, he ain't gonna make it." Wouldn't be here if it weren't for them.

Thanks for the memories and background info. He was such a genuine, down to earth guy. Sometimes when I was delivering his mail, he'd invite me in to talk or listen to what he was working on. Once he played the first Alejandro CD that he produced and gave me a copy.

Thanks for this Michael. I was lucky to be able to visit with Stephen (again) with our dear mutual friend Fred...and play the Epiphone. It was a good visit...as good as it gets.
