I have absolutely no recollection of playing this joint, though it has to have been very early on. The name misspelling and the very brief time we called it Skiffle Band tells it. I am sure we didn’t do multiple Sundays.
Bill Triplett would get a bit overwhelmed at times trying to run everything and sometimes bartend too. He’d ask me to handle the door. You had to be 18 to get in! Imagine the patrons being asked for an ID by a 15 year old kid who looked 12. 😂Beautiful days. Great music!
Oh heck we were gambling on pool table in there w/Krackerjack playing, some of us 16 years old. We’d walk down the hill to hit up vending machines in the police station lobby, good times

The mirror over the urinal at Oz was a two way mirror, so you didn’t actually need to be inside the bathroom to check out the action.
