I'm just sorry you didn't talk more about Ginnie's Bishop Grill.

It was an institution in Oak Cliff until it became a gay hamburger stand.

Best thing there was their peanut butter pie.

It, Austin's BBQ and Norma's Cafe were the soul of Oak Cliff in the 50s-60s.

The Butthole Surfers? I'm conflicted. Loved their name and that they were the progeny of Mr. Peppermint, but I thought their press kit was better than their music. Now, that's harsh, I know, but some people like oatmeal and others don't. (Pete Oppel)
