Writing that makes me younger for a few minutes. Enjoying the music, too. I moved to Austin 50 years ago, and now with my hearing aids and glasses on, I go back through my own memories and unwrap them like candies and smile. Thanks for that, Michael.

Wow. This not merely one of the best things you’ve ever written. This is one of the greatest things I’ve ever read. And I’ve read some things.

First met Victoria and the then- 13 yr old Jack as their South Austin mailman; you are obviously

proud of the path he has chosen and the way he is accomplishing those goals. ROCK ON KID !!

Such a wonderful piece. You made me fall in love with your ex too. I am so glad that the highway anecdote did not end in tragedy. Children make our lives so nuts and rich, no matter whether we were ready of not. That is a really good song!: "my father looks at the volleyball chicks" Haha! The "Swing Low Iscariot" album cover is really good also!

Great writing that makes me miss the girl who ruined my life, my first spouse.

Yes, promote your kid!

I'll go see him and pay the cover charge.

I wish you were still alive so you could explain to me how you like a screwed up format like spotify. I do not get it. It is so not Austin and so NYC.
